After 30 days in Vietnam, we got tired of being badgered and cheated all the time so we left with a bad taste in our mouths. I think the constant wars that the Vietnamese had with the West have made them unfriendly and the tourist industry is just an excuse to get their revenge. Anyway, many have told me that Vietnam isn’t very nice. Now that I travel from the south to the north, my opinion is the same about the people’s behavior. However, that doesn’t make the country itself less beautiful or not worth visiting. If you come here prepared, it won’t be a bad experience for you like it has been for me. Just enjoy the beauty of its landscapes and stay away from the crowds.

Now we have crossed into China. It’s a completely different world but I’ll tell you more about it in my next posts.
