Entering Cambodia was pretty easy after a short visit in Sihanoukville, where we met some Greeks that have decided to make Cambodia their home. Since we had to wait for our visas for Vietnam, we had to choose where we were going to be for Christmas. We chose to celebrate Christmas in the island of Koh Rong in Cambodia. The island itself has only 300 inhabitants. There’s electricity only for four hours a day, from 6 till 10, and there’s no infrastructure. On the other hand, it’s gifted with two of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. All the people are pretty friendly and as we chose to stay in the actual village and not at the two primitive resorts that foreigners have opened there, we became even closer with some of the locals. So I am leaving the civilization for a while but I’ll post as soon as possible. Now I have to rush to take the only small boat that will get me there.
